5 Days/ 4 Nights:

Cochin/ Thekkady/ Kumarakom/ Alleppey

Day 1: Cochin - Thekkady (Hillstation village) : Arrival at Cochin. Then to Thekkady, a small hill station village. By noon at the resort/ hotel in Thekkady. By evening at Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 2 : Thekkady (wild life sanctuary & Spice plantation) After breakfast proceed for a spice plantation tour covering tea, coffee, tea, pepper and cardamom plantations. By noon back at the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Evening visit the local spice market for garden fresh spices. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 3 : Thekkady- Kumarakom (Backwaters). Drive to Kumarakom. By 12 noon check in at the backwater resort in Kumarakom. Afternoon at leisure. Evening visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.

Day 4 : Kumarakom –Alleppey. By 12 noon check in at the house boat in Kumarakom for a 22 hour house boating through the legendary backwaters of Kerala to Alleppey. On the way you will witness a full range of life and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. Overnight in the house boat. House boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, private balcony, dining room, hygiene kitchen and side decks to capture the beauty of the back waters.

Day 5 : Alleppey- Cochin: Get down from the houseboat and proceed to Cochin for a bit of shopping. Afternoon to the Cochin airport/ railway station for onward journey.

6 Days/ 5 Nights:

Cochin - Guruvayoor- Calicut- Wayanad

Day 1: Cochin (Port city). Arrival at Cochin Airport /Railway station . On arrival meet, assist and transfer to hotel. The day at leisure.

Day 2 : Cochin - Guruvayoor (Hindu pilgrim centre) Morning a city tour. Afternoon to Guruvayoor (110 kms/ 21/2 hrs) By evening at the famous Guruvayoor temple- one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrim centers in Kerala. Overnight at Guruvayoor.

Day 3 : Guruvayoor - Calicut : Morning to Calicut. By 12 noon check in at the hotel. Evening a motor boat trip through the backwaters of Malabar. Overnight at Calicut.

Day 4 : Calicut- Wayanad (hillstation): Morning to Wayanad, one of the most scenic places in Kerala which can still be called as a virgin landscape. Lofty peaks, gurgling waterfalls and luxuriant forests add magic to your journey up the winding roads to this hill station. Afternoon at the Pookot lake for boating. Overnight at the hotel in Wayanad.

Day 5 : Wayand : To Edakkal caves with packed lunch. Edakkal caves are prehistoric caves accessible by a soft trek. After lunch to Soochippara waterfalls - a 3 tiered waterfall. Return to the hotel by evening.

Day 6 : Wayand - Calicut : After breakfast to Calicut. Visit Beypore (10 kms)- the land of ‘Urus’ (sea going wooden vessels) and Kappad Beach (16 kms) - where Vasco Da Gama landed in 1498. By evening back at Calicut town for onward journey.
