E-tickets make travel more convenient, secure and flexible than ever before. You get a reference number and an itinerary receipt by fax/e-mail, which you need to present at the airport along with other valid travel documents, to get your boarding card... yes, it is as simple as that!!! You do not need to wait for Deliveries, you do not need to visit airline/American Express offices while travelleing, you do not need to pick-up PTA's, and of course you do not need to worry about losing your Tickets!!! International Airlines are slowly signing up to provide this facility, and as on date E-Ticketing can be offerred on Lufthansa, KLM, Northwest, Air France, Swiss, United Airlines, Singapore Airlines (ex Chennai flights only) and British Airways.
