3 Days/ 2 Nights:

Cochin/ Munnar

Day 1: Cochin - Munnar (Tea Garden & Hill station). Arrival at Cochin. Then proceed to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. to Top Station. Afternoon to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 2 : Munnar : After breakfast visit Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars. To Marayoor to visit the Muniyaras (Caves) which dates back to the new stone age. On the way back visit the sandalwood forests and Lakkam water falls which is accessible by a short trek through the forest. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3 : Munnar– Cochin: After breakfast proceed to Cochin for a bit of city sight seeing and shopping. Evening – get ready for the return journey.

PACKAGE 2

3 Days/ 2 Nights:

Cochin/ Thekkady

Day 1: Cochin - Thekkady (Hillstation village) : Arrival at Cochin. Then to Thekkady, a small hill station village. By noon at the resort/ hotel in Thekkady. By evening at Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 2 : Thekkady (wild life sanctuary & Spice plantation) After breakfast proceed for a spice plantation tour covering tea, coffee, tea, pepper and cardamom plantations. By noon back at the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Evening visit the local spice market for garden fresh spices. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 3 : Thekkady-Cochin. After breakfast proceed to Cochin for a bit of city site seeing and shopping. By evening get ready for the return journey.
