JAIPUR-UDAIPUR-JODHPUR-JAISALMER- BIKANER-MANDAVA-JAIPUR-AGRA-DELHI
DAY 01 : JAIPUR
On arrival check-in at the Hotel and visit Amber Fort. Ride up on
Elephants to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop
of the wooded hills. Later visit the Palace of Winds also known
as Hawa Mahal, this elaborate building, now little more than a façade,
is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which
the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views
of the outside world. Past, present and future merge at Jai Singh's
observatory, where time has been accurately measured since the 17th
century. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
DAY 02: JAIPUR-UDAIPUR
Morning drive to Udaipur. enroute sight seeing of the world
famous Dargah, Shah Jahan's mosque, Taragarh fort at Ajmer. Pushkar
lake, Man Mahal and Savitri temple at Pushkar . Arrive Udaipur and
transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
DAY 03: UDAIPUR
Morning city sight seeing tour.The city built in 1559 A.D.
by Maharaja Udai Singh has been described as the most romantic spot
on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit theCity Palace
museum, the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari ( Queen’s resort
for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir ( Folk art museum) and
the Pratap Memorial. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
DAY 04: UDAIPUR-JODHPUR
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur .Reach Jodhpur and visit
the Majestic Meharangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill.
Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Overnight stay
in Jodhpur.
DAY 05: JODHPUR-JAISALMER
After Breakfast check-out from the hotel and visit Jaswant Thada,
an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant
Singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public Gardens and depart for Jaisalmer.
Evening finally reach Jaisalmer & transfer to hotel. Overnight
stay in Jaisalmer.
DAY 06: JAISALMER
Morning visit the Fort with its temples and palaces, the Havelis,
the amazing maze of lanes and bylanes, Gadsisar tank, Bada Bagh
and Vyas Chhattries. Evening Sun Set view , Camel Safari ,Cultural
Programme and Dinner at SAM.Overnight stay in tented accommodation
at SAM.
DAY 07: JAISALMER- BIKANER
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and travel through the
Kheechan village and spend some time there with migratory cranes.Overnight
stay in Bikaner.
DAY 08: BIKANER
After breakfast visit the Junagarh Fort, constructed between 1588
and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul Emperor Akbar's
army and the Karnimata Temple at Deshnok. Also visit the prestigious
camel breeding farm in the evening. Overnight stay in Bikaner.
DAY 09:BIKANER-MANDAWA
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive through the Tal
Chhaper Deer Sanctuary and finally reach this cute little town Mandawa.
Walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some of the leading business
families of the country. Though they no longer live here, the local
caretakers are happy to show the visitors around. Chowkhani Haveli,
Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Lakshmi narayan Ladia Haveli, Mohahanlal
Saraf Haveli and Bhag chandika Haveli are of special interest. Spend
the major part of the day looking into frescoes.Overnight stay in
Mandawa.
DAY 10: MANDAWA-JAIPUR
After breakfast drive to Jaipur .By the evening visit the modern
attractions of the city which includes the Birla Temple and the
Central Museum. Late in the evening go out for Rajasthani dinner,
folk music and dance at ethnic village. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
DAY 11: JAIPUR-AGRA
Morning drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (a beautiful
capital & centre of power during Akbar's reign). Overnight stay
in Agra.
DAY 12: AGRA-DELHI
Morning at sunrise visit the TAJ MAHAL - one of the Seven Wonders
of the World was built by Shah Jahan in 1631 AD and was completed
in 1651AD. Taj Mahal - The symbol of Love was built in the memory
of Mumtaz Mahal (Shah Jahan' s second wife).Also visit Agra Fort
- Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is
predominantly of red sandstone. Ensconced within is the picture
perfect Pearl Mosque, which is a major tourist attraction. Later
drive to Delhi & transfer to the Hotel/Airport/Railway Station.
